Nail polish giant, Essie, is leaving the bright hues behind for a toned down collection. They lead the pack with “Carry On”. The Zoya Smoke Collection which features Jana ( smoky mauve), Petra (smoky eggplant mauve), Codie (smoky brown taupe), Anja (smoky palatinate purple nail polish cream), Cynthia (smoky Prussian blue), and Dree (smoky camouflage green).

Butter London is taking a similar approach with their new nail collection offering a jewel-toned fall/winter line-up featuring shades like Bluesy (silver peacock blue); Knees Up (metallic red); Toff (dark, brownish dusty rose) and Wallis (tarnished olive-gold).

OPI has also launched their new collection; the Touring America collection for fall 2011. It’s a collection of sexy, strong nail shades inspired by American cities.
