When colours like pale pink and punchy neon yellow come to mind, the sartorially conscious eye immediately turns to spring. However, on the Fall 2016/Winter 2017 runways, sunny tones contrasted against blush shades and caused a beautiful explosion.

With New York Fashion Week officially kicking off yesterday in the Big Apple, the runways have revealed an array of edgy, mysterious and gorgeous styles for Fall 2016. While the shows are just starting (with only Day 1 and Day 2 of the catwalks so far), a fierce design aesthetic has already emerged for the season ahead.
