With summertime temperatures on the horizon, it’s officially time to get sun-kissed at 5 of the most bumpin’ and delicious patios in Toronto. From boozy brunches to laidback nighttime hangouts, Toronto’s patios add an electrifying ambience to your cocktail hour, whatever that may be. Don’t let summer go by without checking out a few of these hotspots, which offer an excellent way to make the most of summer in The 6ix.

The Porch

The Porch, one of the Club District’s newest and biggest rooftop patios located in the heart of the Entertainment District, famous for its unmatched panoramic views of the beautiful Toronto Skyline. Here, enormous margaritas come garnished with overflowing up-side-down Coronas, a rocking dance floor and a Western wooden bar.

Bellwoods Brewery

Located on the bustling and artistic Osssington Avenue, Bellwoods Brewery is perfect for when you want to start drinking early and sip on made-in-house craft beers. The patio is small but very popular, so get there early to enjoy the views of the busy street as well as a pint or two.

Against The Grain

Located on the Harbourfront, this chic restaurant offers an unparalleled view of Lake Ontario and Toronto Island. With lounge seating, fire pits, and enough space for 170 people, Against the Grain’s patio is a great way to experience the waterfront with great food and over 18 types of craft and seasonal beers.

The Madison

This electric hangout spot is a popular getaway for starving artists and college students – not just because of its cheap drinks. This converted Victorian mansion in the Annex is always filled with thrilling yet relaxing vibes. As well, it is home to 11 different bars, five patios and six floors. A piano bar, pool tables, and DJ sets on weekends makes The Maddy a one-stop-shop party under one roof.
