Tights Made From Plastic Bottles Are A Trending Hit With Consumers
Fashion lovers are reported to be clamouring to get their own pair of tights made out of recycled plastic bottles. The Daily Mail reports that Australian fashion brands Nimble Activewear and The Iconic have teamed up to create the new tights. Six bottles, removed from the ocean, are used to create a custom-engineered pair of tights. After only launching two weeks ago, the $99 pants have quickly become a bestseller for both brands.
Nimble’s co-founder Vera Yan said: ‘We had a feeling it would be a popular style and this has certainly been the case – since launching a fortnight ago, it’s quickly shot up to be a bestseller for both Nimble and The Iconic. It has almost sold out entirely’.
The flattering print and fit works well for many body types and has received positive comments from buyers. Check out the different style options here.
