Paris Fashion Week Spring 2019 Best Looks

With Paris Fashion Week having officially wrapped up yesterday, Fashion Month has also come to a grand finale after a non-stop four weeks of runway shows in all of the world’s fashion capitals. On the catwalks in the City of Light, the biggest leading designers made a statement with their luxurious outerwear, bright pastel shades and feminine silhouettes. We’ve curated a few looks from the PFW Spring 2019 runways to help inspire your fashion for the season ahead, as spotted at Louis Vuitton, Chanel and Miu Miu.

Louis Vuitton

At Louis Vuitton, creative director Nicolas Ghesquière presented an athletic, 1980s style collection that consisted of puffed sleeves and futuristic, outer space inspired prints. Models strut the catwalk wearing sporty bulky jackets, boyfriend blazers, with patterned tunics and leggings thrown in for a good mix. Off-the-shoulder dresses with splashy prints and bright tones also set the stage, and brought neon tones to this collection.

Chanel

Designer Karl Lagerfeld turned to beachfront vibes to present the latest at Chanel, where the classic Chanel tweed was updated with softer neutral shades and loose silhouettes. Shades of beige, light gold and ivory offered ladylike elegance, with leggings and cropped white blouses offering a more casual feel. Meanwhile, touches of pastel blue lace, looped beaded necklaces, sheer printed frocks and lemon yellow jackets and skirts were also key looks.

Miu Miu

At Miu Miu, designer Miuccia Prada presented girlish frocks that brought the 1950s to life on the Spring 2019 runway. Knee-length dresses in pale pink, black, grey and yellow were trimmed with oversized roses. Meanwhile, black snakeskin-textured jackets, knee-high socks, pencil skirts, knit sweaters and sheer blouses all proved that sophisticated, modest fashion can be surprisingly chic.
