Don’t Miss Miley Cyrus and Ariana Grande Debut ‘Don’t Dream It’s Over’ Music Video

Here’s something you don’t want to miss. Miley Cyrus and Ariana Grande have made a cover of Crowded House’s 1986 hit Don’t Dream It’s Over for  Cyrus’ The Happy Hippie Foundation, and in the video the pair are in the Bangerz singer’s own backyard wearing onesies while sitting on an inflatable couch.

In case you were wondering, The Happy Hippie Foundation is a nonprofit organization Cyrus launched to help homeless youth and others, including the LGBT youth community. On May 5th she launched The Backyard Sessions as part of the foundation, an initiative she created with Facebook, which is a collection of music video duets between Cyrus and other artists, including Grande, Joan Jett and Laura Jane Grace.

Cyrus launched the video on her Facebook page with the caption “Soooooo thankful for Ariana Grande for being a part of the ‪#‎backyardsessions‬!! You’re the sweetest little ‪#‎happyhippie‬ bear-mouse ever! Loooooove you The Happy Hippie Foundation ‪#‎HappyHippiePresents‬ ‪#‎dontdreamitsover‬”

In an earlier blog post for The Happy Hippie Foundation Cyrus said “No one should have to hide who they really are, no matter what his or her name, gender, status or orientation.” She follows it up by saying that one of the foundation’s missions is “to make sure those who question the value of themselves and their lives feel protected and loved.”

It’s a fun video, and one that is sure to stick in our heads for awhile. Take at https://www.facebook.com/MileyCyrus/videos/10153388045507147/
