Listen To Britney Spears’ Updated ‘Tom’s Diner’

Britney Spears’ latest single is an update of the 1987 Suzanne Vega hit Tom’s Diner, and it’s not even for her album.  It’s for dance-music pioneer Giorgio Moroder, who has recruited several pop stars, including Sia, Kylie Minoque and Charli XCX for his new album Déjà Vu.

Déjà Vu is the twenty first studio album by  Moroder, and it’s scheduled to be released on 12 June 2015. Several singles have all ready been released, including the lead single 74 Is the New 24, released in late-2014, Right Here, Right Now featuring Kylie Minogue, and Deja Vu featuring Sia.

Tom’s Diner was named after the real-life restaurant used in Seinfeld, and was recently sampled in Fall Out Boy’s song Centuries. Britney and Giorgio’s version is much more robotic than the original, with a bit more of a dance music feel to it.  Take a listen below.
