Suits Star Sarah Rafferty On The Cover Of Real Style Spring 2015 Issue
Sarah Rafferty is best known for her work on Suits, where she plays the fiery Donna Paulsen at the law firm Pearson Hardman. The actress and mother of two is the cover girl for Real Style’s spring 2015 issue, and inside she talks about being “half-Canadian,” her love of fashion and her role on Suits. Here’s an excerpt from the interview.
Real Style: What would you be doing if you weren’t an actor?
Sarah Rafferty: I would like to think I would have followed in my mother’s footsteps and been a teacher. But I doubt I could hold a candle to her.
RS: You had some controversy with the show, allegedly being fired and rehired due to an overwhelming response from viewers — tell us about that.
SR: Oh that’s so funny! Actually I was never fired. Donna was fired from Pearson Hardman in Season 2. And it was written in such a way that the audience didn’t know that she would triumphantly return to her cubicle a few episodes later. Thank goodness out creator warned me, so I never personally panicked. The plot point engaged so many of our viewers who took to Twitter and made the hashtag, #savedonna, trend.
