Where To Spot Celebrities At TIFF

The annual Toronto Film Festival has just started, which means it’s time to gear up for some serious movie watching and celebrity stalking! This year, expect big name stars like Jake Gyllenhaal, Ryan Reynolds, James Franco, Channing Tatum, Kiera Knightly, Robert Downey Jr., Robert Pattinson, Kate Winslet and many more star-studded celebrities to gaze at. With a city full of the hottest stars in Hollywood, just where can we find them hanging out in Toronto? Here are some of the celebrity hotspots to look out for at the 2014 TIFF.

1. The Thompson Hotel

If you’re a young A-lister, there is no doubt that you will be found at the rooftop of the Thompson Hotel. Attracting stars like Bradley Cooper, Kate Hudson and James Franco, this cool, hip lounge hotel is the place to be for some celebrity siting. Sure it may be difficult to get in, but that doesn’t mean you can’t stake out outside!

2. Drake Lounge

The Drake Hotel is Toronto’s hottest hangout place and with TIFF 2014, this cool lounge can only get hotter. It’s known to be relatively one of the “easier” places to sneak into, but if not, you always have the option to grab a hotel room and spend the night away hanging out with the hottest Hollywood celebrities.

3. Brassaii

Get the full-course, celebrity experience at Brassaii where the finest Toronto cuisine is served for a sophisticated night out. It’s no wonder so many hit stars hang around here for a good meal and drink! It’s a great place to lounge, eat and mingle!

4. TIFF Bell Lightbox

Where better else would you spot celebrities than the official venue of the festival! Located on King Street West, the TIFF Bell Lightbox is where the heart of the festival is. Besides the screenings, it is also a venue for meetings and conferences, which means plenty of celebrities will be frequenting that area throughout!

5. Park Hyatt Rooftop

Anywhere located in Yorkville is a safe bet, which certainly means that the Park Hyatt Rooftop would be a celebrity hotspot during TIFF. If you’re looking to hang out with some stars, luckily, Park Hyatt doesn’t require reservations, just a lot of patience and time!
