64th Annual Tony Award Winners

scarlett-johanssonThe stars were out in force last night at the 2010 Tony Awards,  with many well know celebrities picking up trophies.  Scarlett Johansson picked up  the Best Featured Actress in a play award for her role in Arthur Miller’s A View From the Bridge, and two-time Academy Award Winner Denzel Washington won for Best Featured Actor for his role in Fences, a Pulitzer-prize-winning play by August Wilson.  Chicago star, and Best Actress Academy Award winner Catherine Zeta-Jones won  for Best Actress in a musical for starring in A Little Night Music.  During her acceptance speech Catherine said “I really do feel like Cinderella,” and thanked her husband, Michael Douglas – whom she called “a movie star, and I get to sleep with him every night.”

Other stars in attendance included Ryan Reynolds, Michael Douglas, Beyonce and her husband Jay-Z,  Will and Jada Pinkett Smith; Liev Schreiber and Naomi Watts, Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith, Daniel Radcliffe and Katie Holmes.
