Best Beauty Looks From Milan Fashion Week Fall 2016

On the Milan Fashion Week catwalks, a number of emerging beauty looks have started to make a splash among the dazzling sartorial creations for the season ahead. For Fall 2016, brightly coloured and bold eyes seem to be ruling the runways, along with the occasional pop of lip colour.

FENDI FALL 2016 BEAUTY

At Fendi, psychedelic eyes took centre stage as a major makeup look. According to Allure, the neon eye makeup was crafted by makeup artist Peter Philips, who used a combination of green, blue and violet shades to finish the look. Models strut the catwalks with exaggerated and rainbow-hued eyeliner, which looked fabulously asymmetrical and edgy. The bold splashes of colour were contrasted against flawless glowing skin and natural lip colour.

EMILIO PUCCI FALL 2016

At Emilio Pucci, the beauty looks on display also focused on the eyes (but without the brilliant pops of colour as seen at Fendi). Sultry black eyeliner was a central look, with kohl-rimmed eyes and defined waterlines ruling the catwalks. As for the rest of the makeup look, a fresh-faced glow and pouty pink lips brought a touch of girl next door beauty.

MAX MARA

Meanwhile, Max Mara took the focus away from the eyes and concentrated on injecting colour into the models’ perfect pouts. As a result, shades of ruby and berry red made an appearance on the catwalk. The high-gloss and bright red lips stood in a sharp contrast to the barely-there eye makeup and light eyebrows.
