Vogue Japan editor Anna Dello Russo’s new fragrance Beyond will be on shelves in time for Christmas. The fashion news editor announced on her blog that the Beyond fragrance will be on sale in a unique little golden shoe bottle in time for girls to get it in their stockings. There is also an ad for the vanilla fragrance that shows off the golden bottle in all its girly glory.
We told you before that Natalie Portman was the new face of Dior fragrances, now beauty news sites have uncovered that Natalie is filming the first commercial for Dior fragrances in Paris with director Sofia Coppola. Sofia Coppola directed the previous ad for the Dior Miss Dior Cherie fragrance, so it’s not surprising they returned to her.
Beyonce is launching another celebrity fragrance. This time Beyonce’s Ultimate Elixir will be tempting fragrance fans. Beyonce Heat Ultimate Elixir is a spin on her original fragrance. Beauty news stories say the new fragrance will be more ‘intimate’ than the punchy scent of Heat. The new Beyonce fragrance will be in stores in September.

Next month Lanvin will propose to the world with their new fragrance. Marry Me by Lanvin, a new women’s fragrance, is ready to be released at the end of August. The name is said to be a celebration of happiness. Overall it is a jasmine scent aimed at young ladies aged 20 to 28. Marry Me by Lanvin starts at $48.83 when it hits shelves.
Chloe is also launching a romantic fragrance next month. Love, Chloe will be on fragrance shelves at the end of August. The new Love, Chloe fragrance is a take on the rose scent of the original Chloe fragrance launched a few years back. The fragrance will be in all Chloe markets by February next year. Expect to see the commercial directed by Roman Coppola on television soon.
As if there aren’t enough already, Katy Perry is joining the beauty aisles with a new celebrity fragrance: the perfectly named Purr by Katy Perry.
This November the new Purr by Katy Perry fragrance will be joining the realms of celebrity fragrances. Like Katy Perry, the fragrance bottle hopes to stand out on shelves in its purple cat shape and jewel eyes.
Katy Perry said in an interview she has about 50 different fragrances at home (including celebrity fragrances) and she wanted her’s to be different. There have been hints, but no real news as to what the fragrance smells like just yet.

Finally shoe company Roger Vivier announced they are releasing five scents during haute couture fashion week this week. The five fragrances will be iris, neroli, rose, sandalwood and amber. The fragrance will be on sale soon for $182 per bottle.
Gucci fragrances have tapped some of Hollywood’s biggest celebrities to created a new commercial for their Gucci Guilty fragrance.
Evan Rachel Wood, star of Across The Universe and The Wrestler, and Chris Evans, of Push and The Nannies Diaries, will star in an upcoming commercial for the Gucci fragrance. The minute long piece for the fragrance was directed by Frank Miller, creator of Sin City and 300. The ad is said to be filmed in Frank Miller’s special cartoon aethetic like Sin City. The music for the fragrance commercial is a cover of Depeche Mode’s “Strange Love” by the band Friendly Fires.
To launch the fragrance commercial to beauty news companies, special guests including the cast and director were invited to watch the ad for the first time in 3D. We can’t wait to see what this celebrity cast can do with a simple fragrance commercial.

Guess has launched its newest fragrance, Seductive, to stores in Europe.
The new Guess fragrance is only selling in Europe this summer as a part of a new push to gain more European fans. Guess has a new fragrance deal with Coty and this European sale is a part of their plan. The Guess Seductive fragrance will be on sale in North America in September.
The Guess Seductive fragrance has a complex scent mixing vanilla, woody scents, jasmine and black currant among other ingredients. You will just have to wait until the fragrance gets here to see what it really smells like.

The new Mariah Carey fragrance line was inspired by her husband Nick Cannon, who proposed by hiding an engagement ring in a Ring Pop candy. Mariah Carey, Elizabeth Arden and Bazooka Candy Brands have teamed up for a trio of fragrances based on the candy that we told you about when it was first announced.
The three candy scented Lollipop Bling fragrances are named after Mariah Carey’s hit songs, Honey, Mine Again and Ribbon.
The fragrance will be available in department stores in July for $35.00 each.

Beauty news sources report that zoo keepers at the Bronx Zoo were amazed by the reaction of cheetahs when they sprayed the Obsession For Men cologne in their pen. The zoo keepers use different fragrances to try to keep the animals entertained and curious of their surroundings. When they sprayed the Calvin Klein Obsession For Men fragrance the cheetahs were intrigued by the scent for 11 minutes. That is apparently a record. Other fragrances could only hold the scent of the cats for seconds.
Now wildlife experts are using the Calvin Klein mens fragrance in the wild. Apparently they are having the same results as the wild cats are just as intrigued by the fragrance’s smell.
Apparently it is the mix of vanilla, green notes and civet that attracts the cats. We will have to wait and see if men rush out to test the Calvin Klein fragrance on their women now too.

Everyone is talking about the new ads for Fergie’s Outspoken fragrance. For the fragrance ads Fergie got edgy in leather and lace posing with a bullhorn to complete the Outspoken idea.
