Drew Barrymore shows off her celebrity style while promoting her new movie Going The Distance. We love this McQ by Alexander McQueen draped dress and Drew made it her own by adding a black and gold leather belt and a big black cocktail ring. Last night the best in television was honoured at the Emmy Awards. We know the show is just as much about the fashion as the awards, so here are the style winners and losers.
Glee may have been robbed of their best comedy award, but the Glee stars were all winners for their red carpet fashion. Lea Michele was named best dressed by People Magazine for her blue ruffled Oscar de la Renta gown. Jayma Mays wowed in a strapless blue Burberry gown putting her on the Glamour best dressed list. Emmy winner Jane Lynch gave her celebrity style some glamour in a plum one-shoulder gown by Ali Rahimi.
During the awards, Twitter was buzzing over Kelly Osborne’s Emmy fashion. She showed off her trim figure in a black Tony Ward couture gown. Others showing off curves included Eva Longoria in a black strapless gown from Robert Rodriguez and, of course, Christina Henricks with a lilac feather Zac Posen gown.
Sparkles returned to the red carpet with a vengeance. Temple Grandin Emmy winner Claire Danes sparkled in an Armani Prive gown covered in Swarovski crystals putting her on the best dressed list. Julianna Marguilies wore a sparkling black gown from L’Wren Scott. Susan Sarandon is on many best dressed lists in her black sparkling off shoulder Donna Karan gown.
Some actresses took risks with their red carpet fashion. Everyone was talking about January Jones’ blue Versace gown, putting this usually fashionable star on the worst dressed lists. True Blood star Anna Paquin wore an embellished Alexander McQueen with gold shoulders. You never know what Tina Fey will wear and this year she chose a silk black and grey Oscar de la Renta gown that had the critics split.
So who was best dressed in the heart of Real Style Network? We loved Kim Kardashian’s white Marchesa gown, Lea Michele’s Oscar de la Renta and Claire Danes’s sparkling gown.

January Jones is wearing a terrible blue Versace gown. She does not look good in it. The dress looks like it’s wearing her! The web is exploding with negative comments about January Jones’ Emmy outfit and even about her. Esquire magazine went as far as saying
January Jones on every network:drunk
Other commentators from the Red Carpet at The Emmy’s have already put her on the worst dressed list at the Emmys. Poor January Jones, maybe the stylist from Mad Men should be dressing her for the Red Carpets!

With the biggest night in television tomorrow, we wanted to take a look back a last year’s Emmy fashions. Last year Drew Barrymore took the top spot in our hearts for her beautiful Monique Lhuillier organza Emmy’s gown.
Another of our favourite Emmy’s fashion from last year was this sexy Versace gown on Blake Lively. This Gossip Girl is no stranger to fabulous wardrobes. Her red Versace gown with the plunging neckline and high slit was very va-va-voom.
This year we expect no less from the fabulous Emmy nominees, including Best Actress frontrunner Julianna Margulies, Mad Men stars January Jones and Christina Hendricks and Claire Danes. We wish them all the best and look forward to seeing their gorgeous gowns at this year’s Emmy Awards.

It’s the Emmy awards this weekend and as much as the awards are about the Best in Television, it’s also about the best dressed women on The Red Carpet! Mad Men’s star Christina Hendricks is sure to be on the Emmy’s best dressed list with her fiery red hair and knock out curves. We thought of a few gorgeous gowns she might like to have worn on the Red Carpet at the Emmys. Now just to sit back and see what she actually wears and then we’ll decide if we liked hers or ours!

This weekend Jessica Szohr will fight for her life on the big screen in her new movie Piranha 3D. It’s no secret that the biggest appeal of Gossip Girl is the clothes. Serena Van Der Woodsen (Blake Lively) and Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester) are the ultimate examples of Upper East Side young princess style.
