Eos lip balm is a favourite of many of our readers, so we wanted to try out this beauty product for ourselves to see if it really was the amazing beauty find we heard it was.
At first look the Eos Lip Balm Smooth Sphere is possibly the cutest little beauty product we’ve ever seen. The little round case is unique and unexpected. Your friends are going to ask you what it is and if they can try it once they see you pull this little lip balm out of your purse.
The second unexpected part of the Eos Lip Balm is the smell. We tried out the new Lemon Drop SPF 15 lip balm and it smelled like dessert. Every time we put it to our lips we thought of lemon meringue pie. Delicious!
It smelled so good, we almost forgot about all of the great aspects of it. The EOS Lip Balm is 100% natural and 95% organic. The added SPF 15 to the lemon drop is perfect for the summer when you sometimes forget to protect your lips.
This is one beauty find that we at Real Style Network are glad we found.

Our curly haired girls on the Real Style Network beauty team are always on the hunt for the perfect straightener. Three of them got a chance to try the Straight & Curl 2 in 1 Ceramic Curling Iron from Rowenta Beauty to see if it was the one we had been looking for. This is the hair care company who did all of the great looks backstage at Toronto Fashion Week so we had high expectations. Here is our beauty review:

At first look, we were skeptical of the Rowenta Beauty iron. We didn’t think the straightener was up to the challenge of our thick hair. But the unique designer of a straighener plus curling iron made us excited for the possibilities.
Despite our fears, our hair came out just as smooth and straight as if we had done it at home. Even though the straightener is small, it does have enough power to be able to do your hair in the same amount of time. The heat is perfect to manage even the toughest curls. The addition of a curling iron on the end means that you can curl your ends easily to get a new look.
The Rowenta Beauty straightener’s biggest strengths are also it’s flaws though. Because of the curling iron on the outside, you cannot get a good grip on the straightener. Since it is small, the curling portion of the iron only allows you to grab a small portion of hair at a time. If you have thin hair that is ok, but for us girls with thick locks, we could be there all day.
In the end though for a straightener, it’s all about getting the job done. It may have been a little difficult to maneuver for a newcomer to the Rowenta Straightener, but her hair came out soft and straight.

At Real Style Network beauty blog, we are always on the hunt for the best products of the season in our beauty find category. One sniff of the new Dove go fresh Revive bath & body products and we were sold. This sweet smelling line of bath products is our favourite new way to brighten the summer.
We have tried and reviewed, some of the other Dove go fresh products, so we hoped this new scent would be just as good. The new Dove scent that we are so in love with is the sweet mix of pomegranate and lemon verbena. The smell is light and fruity. It makes you feel like summer just by smelling it. It is the new summer scent for at least one person around the office.
The Dove body line comes in a body wash, shampoo, conditioner, anti-perspirant and body mist. The products all work as you would expect from Dove. The bath products are very moisturizing and creamy. The shampoo and conditioner are damage repairing, which is a bonus for those of us who are addicted to the flat iron. The new Dove body wash with their NutriumMoisture is so thick and creamy you feel like you are washing with body lotion, not wash. We could definitely feel the results of the intense moisturizing on even the driest spots.
The scent isn’t actually all that strong in most of the bath products. It’s a shame because we would have loved for the whole house to smell like this. If you fall in love with the smell like we did, it’s the body mist that you want. It leaves the scent lingering on you in just the right intensity.

For our beauty giveaway, Real Style Network beauty blog got to test out the new DeoDry Deodorant from The Body Shop to ensure we were giving away only the best products. We put the Chilled & Breezy Deodorant from The Body Shop to the ultimate test to see if it was up to the challenge.
Our trial period started during a summer heat wave with serious humidity that needed a strong deodorant. We went to and from work, relaxed on patios and even went to a hot and sweaty concert hall to test out the beauty product. Fortunately for us, The Body Shop deodorant exceeded our expectations.
The DeoDry Deodorant doesn’t look like much. It’s a small little roll on package that doesn’t exude confidence when you look at it. We were concerned about testing it in this summer heat. The deodorant rolls on cold and wet, and does take a while to dry. Since it is a liquid, it doesn’t leave stains, which is nice. You may not feel fully protected, you are! While I did feel the need to reapply for my own sanity, I doubt I actually had to.
I have pretty sensitive skin when it comes to deodorant and The Body Shop deodorant is the first product I have used that didn’t leave me feeling uncomfortable by the end of the day.
We would recommend this deodorant to anyone looking for something new.

At Real Style Network beauty blog we love bringing you new beauty products to add to your favourites. We have recently been introduced to the new to Canada skin care line Thann.
Thann skin care products are made using traditional Asian formulas of creating natural skin care products. We love that eco-friendly beauty products are becoming the norm, so we were excited to give a new natural skin care beauty line a try.
The first (and best) part about the Thann skin care line is the smell. The soaps, scrubs and lotions are made with natural essential oils, so the scents are wonderful and natural. While the scents are strong, they aren’t over powering. Just opening the box, we were in love with the smell. The natural smells are very relaxing and soothing.
The Rice Grain Soap With Charcoal was one of the most surprising products we’ve seen in a while. Who would think to use black soap? Even when you wash with it the bubbles are grey. Don’t worry though because it leaves you clean and fresh. The exfoliating rice grains in the soap give your skin a great scrub.

For our beauty find this weekend, we wanted to bring you one of our favourite makeup items right from the offices of Real Style Network. Ever since we bought it Annabelle Cosmetics’ line of Mono Eyeshadow has been a favourite of our beauty bags.
Annabelle Cosmetics is a Canadian makeup company who have brought out an affordable line of mix and match eyeshadow shades suitable for every makeup lover regardless of their skill level. The little eyeshadow pots are sold in single colours for under $5.00 and you can add them to your custom case to create your own eyeshadow palette.
Our staff member changes up the eye shadows in her palette depending on her mood or the event she is going to. The colours range from simple whites and beige shades all the way to bold greens and pinks. Annabelle currently shows 16 different shades on their website, but when they change their eyeshadow colours for the season you will get a whole new range of colours without actually having to invest in a lot. The L’Oreal Elnett Satin Hairspray has been around for years, but only made it’s way to the North American haircare market a few years back. Since it’s release it has been flying off the shelves. Our reader agrees with the many hair care bloggers who give it rave reviews.
Our beauty reader said: I love L’Oreal Elnett Satin Hairspray and I would recommend it to all of my friends. We were sceptical until we read the review from our reader.

For today’s beauty find our product is the new Gillette Fusion Thermal Face Scrub for men. This face wash for men claims to warm and clean the face, while also softening the hair to make shaving easier. One of the writer’s husband tried it. Here is what he had to say:
I like it because it makes the hair on my face soft and easier to shave. I hate shaving and until I found this product I would go for days without shaving cause it was painful. Since using the face scrub, I found shaving much easier. I can use it in the shower like a normal face wash so it doesn’t take any extra time. I’ve never used anything like it before. I love the warming sensation.

Today, one of our writers has offered up her favourite hair care product – Marc Anthony Strictly Curls Curl Booster. This Marc Anthony product has been around for a while. The stay in conditioner’s description states that it is infused with silk proteins and vitamin E to leave curls feeling healthy and looking natural. Our staffer sure likes it, this is what she said about it:
This is the only thing I will use to keep my curls looking amazing. My hair is naturally wavy, but I always wanted those beautiful curls like you see on the women on television. This Marc Anthony product gets me one step closer. A lot of hair care products only get you halfway there and need a lot of styling and blow drying to work. I just spray the curl booster in my hair while it’s damp and I am ready to go. I can let it air dry or blow dry it for an even better effect. I love the way this spray brings my curls to life. You would never know I don’t have naturally beautiful curls.

A recent reader tipped us off about the Nivea Visage Gentle Cleansing Cream. This Nivea Visage Cleansing Cream states that it is made for dry or sensitive skin to clean withing drying out your skin even further. It purifies and moisturizes to leave your skin feeling soft.
Our reader said this about the Nivea Visage Gentle Cleansing Cream:
A lot of face washes are too harsh on my skin. They dry my face out and leave my skin feeling itchy and sore. The Nivea Visage face wash doesn’t do that. It leaves my face feeling soft and clean. There is no oily residue like some cream face washes. It doesn’t cause my face to feel extra oily or breakout. I wouldn’t go back to any other face wash again.
