Hair stylist Latrice Strader of Destiny De’Ve Hair Salon has offered up some short hair style suggestions straight from the celebrity beauty books for those who can ‘t stand their long hair anymore this summer.
Vamp It Up – We showed you the new hair when Kristen Stewart debuted her short red locks. We thought this light hairstyle really softened this Twilight star up for the summer and Latrice agrees. “Summer is a great time of year to go with a lighter shade,” says Latrice. “This length is perfect for women with a more oval shaped face, who may typically shy away from short cuts” Latrice continues.
Fiery Red Hot Hair – Rihanna also chopped her hair short for the summer and went red. But Rihanna’s red is bright and firey to match her bold outgoing personality. If you are brave enough to rock Rihanna’s hairstyle we salute you. “Bold colors are definitely in this season,” says Latrice. “Shades of red and copper look fantastic on brown skin tones and bright orange adds an amazing pop of color to more fair skin tones.”
Short & Sweet – Hayden Panettiere’s haircut shocked her fans this spring, but the star has learned to work the new hair well on the red carpet. The celebrity beauty world is a buzz with news that Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher have started doing a master cleanse together.
On Saturday Ashton Kutcher tweeted that he would be starting his master cleanse. Then today Demi Moore updated her followers on their progress on Twitter saying: 2nd day of master cleanse and off to hike with hubby and the dogs. 2nd day better than the 1st! Now everyone wants to know the details behind the master cleanse to maybe get a hint at how they keep their celebrity beauty youth.
The master cleanse is a 10 day detox drink that consists of a drink made of maple syrup, lemon juice, water, and cayenne pepper. During the 10 days that is all you can consume. Meaning no other food or drinks at all. Call us crazy, but that just doesn’t sound very appetizing at all. Even health buff Ashton Kutcher admitted he was craving a steak after just a day.
The master cleanse is meant to eliminate toxins from your body, stop cravings for things like alcohol and tobacco and help you lose weight.
The master cleanse is a popular trick used by a lot of celebrities. Beauty news sources reported a few years back about how Gwyneth Paltrow actually got sick from going through a Master Cleanse that sent her to the hospital. But many other’s including Naomi Campbell and Beyonce have done the master cleanse successfully.

In an interview with the British Times, supermodel Elle MacPherson revealed her celebrity beauty secret of using an ancient Chinese medicine that has been banned worldwide. Now Elle is dealing with some serious backlash from animal activists who want to know why.
The Chinese medicine Elle uses for her beauty regimen is made from powered rhinoceros horns. The treatment has been used for years to treat things like fever, nosebleeds and strokes. But the medicine has been banned around the world because of poachers killing rhinos for their valuable beauty worth. Elle MacPherson’s admission to using the medicine has everyone from the Humane Society International to the International Fund for Animal Welfare speaking up.
Animal rights activists say there is no excuse for a celebrity of her stature using the medicine for her beauty needs. They feel that Elle MacPherson should only stop using the illegal medicine, but should take action against it to redeem herself.
Elle MacPherson hasn’t commented on the backlash of her beauty routine yet, but she will have to soon. Animal activists do not go down without a fight.
We are going to file this story under the category of gross hair beauty ideas. A British caterer has decided to make a premium jam infused with human hair. Not just any hair, but the hair of Princess Diana.
Now we know that Princess Diana was a legendary beauty. Her blonde curls and fair skin are a celebrity beauty style that will be imitated for years to come. But eating her hair? Yuck! It probably won’t get you any closer to the fair princess’s beauty.
The Princess Diana Jam was made by Sam Bompas of Bompas and Parr. The company tries to make their food extraordinary, this time they have definitely done that. He bought Princess Diana’s hair on eBay and made the Milk Jam, which you can get now at London’s Barbican Art Gallery.
The hair jam is part of the Occult series of jams which also includes a jam made with sands from the Great Pyramids and wood from Nelson’s ship in The Victory.

A study by P&G, the makers of Pantene, found that the type of shampoo a woman uses directly effects her mood. They found that while a good hair day can make a woman proud and excited, a bad hair day can bring out emotions of hostility, anger and low self-esteem. P&G says they used this information to create their newly revamped hair care line. We have to agree that a bad hair day can ruin everything, but we don’t know if one little shampoo can fight off bad hair.

Last night, Twilight Eclipse had its big premiere in LA with all of the stars and fans out to show their support. Twilight star Bryce Dallas Howard got a taste of her first big Twilight red carpet since taking over the role of Victoria for the new Twilight movie.

I prepared Bryce’s hair by applying a small amount of argan oil-infused original Moroccanoil Treatment on damp hair before blow-drying to condition, strengthen and protect strands from the heat of the curling iron as well as to eliminate any sign of frizz or static. It absorbs instantly and speeds my blow-drying time so I can concentrate on styling. I love using Moroccanoil Treatment with flat or curling irons when I work because the hair becomes even better conditioned and healthier.
Once the hair was dry, I applied Moroccanoil Hydrating Styling Cream to the palm of my hands then randomly finger-combed sections of the hair for natural looking hold. After making a center part, I used a curling iron to form loose, flowing waves that were easy to work and to tuck behind the ears. I then gently teased the hair at the crown to create a suggestion of a Bardot bee-hive, pinned the sides, and left a soft cascade of gorgeous hair flowing down her back. Next, I lightly misted Bryce’s hair using Moroccanoil Glimmer Shine Spray for an extra boost of natural-looking shine to reflect her beautiful color, especially in the bright lights on the red carpet. It was important to me to give the hair a luminous, ethereal look, and perfect condition and lustre was essential.
To hold the hair in place without compromising on shine or movement, I finished the style with new Moroccanoil Luminous Hair Spray, which is blended with Moroccanoil’s exclusive argan oil-infused formula. It sprays on in a soft, diffused mist and I love how touchable the hair feels, as well as so moveable with long-lasting hold that lasts all night long.

The new Mariah Carey fragrance line was inspired by her husband Nick Cannon, who proposed by hiding an engagement ring in a Ring Pop candy. Mariah Carey, Elizabeth Arden and Bazooka Candy Brands have teamed up for a trio of fragrances based on the candy that we told you about when it was first announced.
The three candy scented Lollipop Bling fragrances are named after Mariah Carey’s hit songs, Honey, Mine Again and Ribbon.
The fragrance will be available in department stores in July for $35.00 each.
Mariah Carey already has a number of fragrances on the market including Luscious Pink, Forever and M by Mariah Carey.
Only days after 24 year old Amanda Bynes announced her retirement, rumours are now circulating that the young star has also gotten plastic surgery. One plastic surgeon from Los Angeles told Fox News, “I think a lot of women feel the pressure to look younger and be at their best. When the rest of the population seems to be younger then you have no choice but to compete.”
The doctor says while there are no side effects to using Botox in your youth, overuse may lead to Botox being less effective in later years (when you might actually need it to conceal wrinkles). Casting agents say they won’t use stars who have changed their appearance so much that young girls can’t relate to them.
A lot of the blame for this change in mindset is due to the excessive partying by young celebrities. The late nights and partying takes its toll on their celebrity beauty, causing them to think they need plastic surgery.
After hearing about Heidi Montag’s 10 plastic surgeries this is a frightening trend that we hope these young stars can keep under control.

He finished the whole look off with a top hat. Apparently fans didn’t want Adam to shave off his locks though because shortly after he had to post another tweet to confirm his new hair.
