Bright, punchy coloured, hibiscus-laden tropical floral prints were seen all over the runways, and this trend is made modern (and far from a baggy man’s hawaiian shirt) with tailoring and chic silhouettes.

The Heart Truth Red Dress Fashion Show Begins New York Fashion Week

New York Fashion Week got it signature kick off with the star-studded Heart Truth Red Dress fashion show. Chaka Khan, Minka Kelly, Rose McGowan and more strutted their stuff in red designer gowns to raise awareness of women’s heart health. Top American designers including Oscar de la Renta, Donna Karan, Diane von Furstenberg and Badgley Mischka designed dresses for their celebrity models.
