Tricep Dips

This move is especially great for those wearing strapless or sleeveless dresses. It’s an effective move that can be done at work, home or the gym. Grab a chair, bench or even the coffee table. Face away from your chosen tool and place your arms behind you with your hands flat. You can leave your feet flat on the ground with your knees at a 90 degree angle or, for a challenge, extend your legs in front of you balancing on your heels. Using your triceps, push off the chair like a reverse push up. Try three sets of 15 reps.

Lunges

Even though your legs may be hidden under your dress, it’s still important to strengthen your lower body. With all the walking around, standing and dancing you’ll be doing, your legs need are going to need to keep up. Start in a standing position and step forward with one leg bending at a 90 degree angle. Your back knee will likely touch the floor. Return back to the original position and switch sides. Repeat 12-15 times. You can also work in some cardio and turn them into jumping lunges.

Squats

For those form-fitting gowns, squats are essential to getting that butt in shape. Start with your legs hip-width apart. Slowly lower yourself down as if you’re about to sit into a chair. Return to the starting position and repeat 15 times for three sets.

Arm Raises

If you’re shoulders are going to be exposed on your big day, arm raises are an easy way to tone your shoulders. Hold 5-pound dumbbells in each hand and start with your arms at your side. Slowly raise your arms at the same time, creating a T shape and then lower back down. Try this for 10-12 reps.

Superwoman Raises

Between photographs and that anticipated walk down the aisle, it’s important to have good posture for your wedding day. Superwoman raises are a quick and easy way to strengthen your back and improve posture. Lay flat on your stomach with your arms stretched in front of you. Simultaneously raise your upper and lower body. Hold for a few seconds and release, and then repeat.
