Stollmeyer thinks that beige, champagne, icy, gold, honey and pearl tones are ideal. Meanwhile, those with dark hair can try inte- grating shades of burgundy, violet, chocolate and navy into their ’do.
On the other hand, a simple trim can revive your mane if you want to polish up your look without changing your colour. “For long- haired ladies, we are seeing either shaggy styles (think razor cuts) or lacquered shine, smooth and sharp,” Stollmeyer describes.
Of course, short hair also contin- ues to enjoy its moment in the spot- light. We can expect to see sharp, straight bobs of varying lengths, along with influences drawn from the edgy 1990s. Stollmeyer re- minds us that middle parts, curtain bangs and au naturel curls will all be en vogue for shorter
hair types.
Still, this fall, individ- ualism reigns supreme. Case in point: Stollmeyer says that fringe is back, with models rocking their natural textures and bangs for a completely individu- alized look.
Of course, celebri-
ties too inspire their own
hair following. Along
with Cher, Jennifer Lopez
and Kim Kardashian, Stollmeyer favours the look of ris- ing star Zendaya. “From braids to sleek, to the Joan of Arc inspired bob at the Met Gala — a woman shows such confidence and yet playfulness within herself when she can have so much fun with her hair like that,” Stollmeyer says of
the 21-year-old actress and singer. Key to any great look, how- ever, is the correct products. To maintain freshly styled locks after leaving the salon, Shnayderman recommends the brand’s Quickie. ME. He also recommends turning to your stylist as an expert, before
shopping for any new hair buys. “Invest in the right products for your hair. Listen to your styl- ist’s recommendation. If the right products are used, the hair will be healthier, will maintain colour longer and will be easier to style. Most importantly, it will look
amazing,” he explains.
And there’s nothing like healthy,
flawless locks to leave you feeling like the belle of the ball, all season long!
