Richmond, BC – Tea at London Heritage Farm

Situated in southern Richmond, London Heritage Farm overlooks the Fraser River. Their yearly Mother’s Day Tea features their homemade scones, freshly baked goods and a custom blend of tea. The country style of the Tea Room makes for a quaint and ladylike afternoon tea. In addition, you and mom can check out the Annual Plant Sale.

Jasper, AB – Spring Run Off

While most moms want to spend their special day being pampered and relaxing, the Spring Run Off is perfect for those athletic moms who are always working on their body and fitness goals. Held every Mother’s Day, this 10 kilometre loop takes runners around Lake Edith, and the surrounding forests and lakes. Now in its 30th year, the run is an amazing representation of loving mothers, as the event helps raise money for the community.

Calgary, AB – Spring is Singing Mother’s Day Concert

This event is perfect for those musically inclined Calgary moms. Hosted by the Calgary Welsh Society, the concert features opera tunes, musical theatre and Welsh songs. You can spend the afternoon embracing music and perhaps even discovering some new songs, and also embrace the arts with your mom.

Toronto, ON – Mother’s Day Roncesvalles Food Tour

Foodie moms can unite at the Roncesvalles Food Tour in Toronto. The tour starts at a designated meeting place and feature five distinct food shops, where participants will be treated to samples while learning about the area and the history of this Toronto neighbourhood.

Montreal, QC – Brunch Cruise

Brunch is a classic activity for Mother’s Day and a tradition for many families, but why not take it up a notch by brunching on a cruise? The brunch cruise leaves from Old Port and sails past landmarks such as La Ronde and Olympic Stadium. Menu items include a cold station with seasonal fresh fruits and a selection of pastries and breads. If your mom loves the water and a luxurious setting, this day cruise may be a treat for her.
