Chelsea Clinton’s Wedding Dress

It seems like le tout of fashion internet and twitter is talking about Chelsea Clinton’s Vera Wang wedding dress. Chelsea Clinton married long term beau Mark Mezvinsky this weekend. The reaction to the wedding dress has been very positive. You have to admit we have not seen Chelsea Clinton look this lovely in a long time.

The custom Vera Wang dress was made of ivory coloured silk organza and reportedly cost $28,000.00. The classic A line strapless wedding dress was tightly fitted through the bodice, cinched in with a crystal studded belt at the waist and opened up in flower like layers and swirls throughout the full bottom. The bottom layers were finished with a technique called laser cut, which left the edges lightly frayed to create movement.

Vera Wang is most definitely the wedding gown designer of choice for many celebrities having recently created gorgeous custom gowns for Ivanka Trump’s wedding and for Alicia Keys.
We think the wedding dress is lovely as well. Congratulations to the newlyweds!
