LCD Soundsystem
American Dream
It’s hard to
believe that LCD Soundsystem hasn’t released a new album in seven
years, but then again for five of those years the band was broken up. They announced in 2016 that they were reuniting, and that a new album was forthcoming,
and fans have been eagerly anticipating the new tracks ever since. They were rewarded with the lead singles “Call The Police” and “American Dream” back in May, and the band’s appearance on Saturday Night Live to promote them. The album took them 18 months to create,
and should announce the band’s return to the charts.
Emily Haines
Choir Of e Mind
The Metric front woman is set
to release her sophomore solo album and her first since 2006’s Knives Don’t Have Your Back. The album
examines personal experiences that helped her discover a deeper sense
of self, as well
as delves into the feminine spirit of
the music industry. Her music, whether solo or with Metric, always makes you think about the issues facing society, and this album is sure to do the same.
Fall Out Boy
MANIA
Fall Out Boy
has constantly evolved their sound throughout their six albums, and this
one shows them doing the same.
For MANIA, their music is highly influenced by the Electronic Dance Music (EDM) genre, which should open them to a whole new market. Their first single “Young and Menace,” followed by “Champion,”
shot to the top of the charts, so fans are sure to love what follows.
