  2. Ensure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather. Layers are a great option.<\/li>\n
  3. Don’t let anyone wander alone. Make it a point to stay in a group.<\/li>\n
  4. If handing out candy, let children pick out their own piece.  <\/li>\n
  5.  Ensure your home and walkway are well-lit and free of debris. <\/li>\n
  6. Avoid using candles in pumpkins.<\/li>\n
  7. Consider mixing up your treat options by including things like pencils, stickers or colouring books.<\/li>\n
