The much anticipated OVO Fest will be taking place in Toronto on August 7, and is set to feature none other than Toronto’s own Drake. He will be joined by artists like Majid Jordan, Roy Woods, DVSN and PARTYNEXTDOOR. All of this year\u2019s artists are signed to Drake\u2019s record label, OVO Sound.  <\/p>\n

Majid Jordan is a Canadian duo that specializes in R& B music. The duo\u2019s stage name comes from the names of the two artists, singer Majid Al Maskati and music producer Jordan Ullma. Daniel Dailey and Anthony Paul Jefferies are also a Canadian R&B duo who call themselves DVSN (pronounced as division). Anthony Brathwaite is professionally known as PARTYNEXTDOOR and was the first artist to be signed to OVO Sound. He has collaborated with Drake himself, as well as famous artists like Jeremih and Big Sean. Joining the event as well is solo artist Roy Woods, who is a singer, songwriter and rapper.<\/p>\n

The eighth annual OVO Fest is also set to have a few surprises in store, as Drake is known to surprise the fans with special guests in the past.  In the past, Drake has been joined by famous artists such as Frank Ocean, The Weeknd, Jay-Z, J.Cole and Nicki Minaj.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
