Hottest Montreal Concerts Of Summer 2017

If you love music, it’s certainly a good summer to be visiting Montreal, which is often referred to as Canada’s party capital. Whether you’re simply looking for pumping beats or aiming to reminisce and sing along to some of your favourite songs, you’re in luck this Summer 2017. We’ve curated a round-up of the hottest concerts which are slated to hit Montreal in the coming weeks. 

Sean Paul

After Sean Paul performs his energetic and playful music at Echo Beach in Toronto, he’ll be heading to Montreal on July 31 to perform at the Beach Club. While the Jamaican-born rapper was last booked at the Montreal venue two years ago, he’s now set to make a return appearance. Although Sean Paul last performed in Canada in 2016, his upcoming Montreal gig is sure excite local fans. 

Coldplay

British rock band Coldplay are performing in Montreal, after five years. Last year, the band released a new album called A Head Full of Dreams, and now they are touring the world again. They will be performing two nights in Montreal at the Bell Centre, with slated performances on on August 8th and 9th. 

One Republic

One Republic is currently on their North American Tour and will be performing in Montreal for the first time in two years. You can hear some of the band’s new pop rock music during the concert, as well as hear some of their former major hits like Counting Stars and Apologize. They will be performing on August 11th at the Bell Centre, and will be accompanies by the winner of British X Factor, James Arthur, as well as rock band Fitz and the Tantrums.

Guns N’ Roses

Guns N’ Roses’ Not in This Lifetime tour has been quite popular, as over two million tickets were reported to be sold last year. The band will be performing in Montreal at Parc Jean Drapeau on August 19th. It’s been 25 years since the original members of the band, singer Axl Rose, guitarist Slash and their bandmates, will all be performing together.
