What To Do In Toronto In November

November can be a tricky month to make plans for, after all you really don’t know what the weather is going to be like. It’s not so cold that you can’t go outside, but then again it might be. You just can’t tell. Thankfully there are plenty of activities you can do in Toronto indoors as well as outdoors to please everyone. Here are our favourites.

From November 6th – November 15th, you can attend the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair at Ricoh Coliseum. This year is the event’s 93rd anniversary, which is the largest combined indoor agricultural fair and international equestrian show in the world. You can check out farm animals up close, see giant vegetables, attend a horse or dog show, or pick up a souvenir from one of the many vendors. There is lots to see and do, and your family will love it.

You may not want to think of Christmas just yet, but the One of a Kind Christmas Show starts on November 26 and runs until December 06 at the Enercare Centre. Here you will find unique gifts for everyone, from one of over 800 artisans. You will find everything from hand-crafted ceramics, jewellery, furniture and clothing, to one of a kind art. It’s the largest consumer craft show in North America.

If theater is more your thing, then you might just want to check out Dirty Dancing at the Ed Mirvish Theatre  from November 24 – 29. Watch baby get charmed by Johnny all over again, set to the classic songs of  “Hungry Eyes,” “Hey Baby,” “Do You Love Me?” and “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life.”

The Gourmet Food and Wine Expo returns for a 21st year to the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. Running from November 19th – 22nd, guests will find all sort of opportunities to sample fine wines, spirits, and craft beers from around the world. Not only that, but gourmet foods are available as well, including cheese. Seminars, workshops and cooking demonstrations round out the show.
