This weekend in Toronto there is not just one, but two art shows. On June 13th you can check out the Liberty Village Art Crawl and on the 13th and 14th you can take a trip down to Toronto Beaches and see everything there is to see at The Beaches Arts & Crafts Show.

The Liberty Village Art Crawl has been going on for three years now, and at it you will find original art, photography, jewellery, furniture, and even fashion from 65 amazing artists and designers. There will be DJ’d music all day long, and food trucks will be around to help you control your appetite. You can discuss the art directly with the artist, and many of them are willing to negotiate the price for their work. Last year’s event was voted as one of the TOP 10 Outdoor Art Fairs to attend in Toronto by BlogTO, and they received the honour again this year. The event is sponsored by Cirque Du Soleil, Varekai, who are even giving out free tickets to the opening night of their upcoming show later this year.

The other art show you can attend in Toronto this weekend is The Beaches Arts & Crafts Show, located at Kew Park in the heart of Queen Street East Beaches area. Even though it’s held outside, the event will be run rain or shine. It has been going on for over 30 years, and features quality handmade products from over 150 talented artists, artisans and designers from across Canada. You can attend one, or both days for free, and you will have a chance to win great handmade prizes donated by some of the participants. You will find everything from visual arts, jewellery and leather work, to fashions, home and garden décor, natural skin care products, gourmet foods and much much more.
