It’s no secret that late designer Karl Lagerfeld\u2019s favourite fashion item was the white shirt. Last night, Lagerfeld\u2019s famous friends gathered to honour his legacy at an event for the White Shirt Project. Held in Paris, friends and admirers that attended included Anna Wintour, Gigi Hadid, Karlie Kloss and Kaia Gerber.  <\/p>\n

According to the New York Times<\/a><\/span><\/strong>, drew dozens of high-profile participants, including the retailer Sarah Andelman<\/a>, the model Eva Herzigova and Alessandro Michele of Gucci, and asked them to create bespoke white shirts inspired by their personal memories of Mr. Lagerfeld. An additional seven shirts \u2014 by Ms. Roitfeld, Cara Delevingne, Tommy Hilfiger, S\u00e9bastien Jondeau, Diane Kruger, Kate Moss and Takashi Murakami \u2014 have been replicated 77 times each and are available online for $777 in the United States and 777 euros in Europe on the Karl Lagerfeld and Farfetch websites.<\/p>\n

All proceeds will be donated to Sauver la Vie, a charity Lagerfeld himself supported.<\/p>\n
