With the runways in London showcasing another season of styles, another fashion capital has predicted the next wave of trends for Fall 2017. As London Fashion Week officially closes, the catwalks featured a bevy of rich fabrics, breathtaking bright hues and intricate sequins.<\/p>\n

At Erdem, designer Erdem Moralio\u011flu stuck to his usual whimsical creations, but also turned to some personal history for his latest collection. Moralio\u011flu (who has English and Turkish heritage) was inspired by the culture of his great-grandmothers, and presented themes from both cultures on the catwalk. This translated into rich embroidered frocks, ladylike blossom prints, high necklines and puffed long sleeves. From flowing full skirts to sheer long sleeves, vintage elegance was in the air.<\/p>\n

Creative director Johnny Coca presented a traditionally British aesthetic on the Mulberry runway. From black and white checkered frocks to funky oversized plaid blazers and knee-high boots, neutrals were the look of the day. Pops of green, lavender and maroon brightened the dark, refined collection, while silky blouses and tiered dresses offered visual interest.<\/p>\n

At Christopher Kane, the aesthetic on display was feminine and glitzy. Models walked the runway in pink printed frocks, airy white lace dresses and sweet cardigans. From high-waisted flared trousers to silvery metallic pleated dresses and oversized sparkly floral appliqu\u00e9s, colour and glitter were both on the sartorial agenda.<\/p>\n

Designer Mary Katrantzou channelled the punchy brights of Disney\u2019s Fantasia<\/em>, with vibrant dresses which were detailed with embellishment and embroidery. Pastel coats with thick furry collars, rainbow sequined shift dresses and flapper inspired fringe hems completed the looks.<\/p>\n

At Topshop Unique, party girl vibes were on full display, with silky dresses making a grand appearance. From sparkle to thigh-high slits and asymmetrical hemlines, the theme was flirty, youthful and refreshing. The occasional shaggy coat, carefree boyfriend knit or neon sweatshirt brought a cool and effortlessly chic effect to the Fall 2017 lineup.<\/p>\n
