Although fashionistas are still preparing for the balmy summer temperatures ahead, the fashion world is always ready for the upcoming season. Staying true to his edgy aesthetic, Marc Jacobs has just unveiled a new Fall 2016 campaign which stars none other than hip hop diva Missy Elliott.<\/p>\n

On the brand\u2019s official Instagram account, the American designer offered a glimpse of the new ad campaign, which was shot by British fashion photographer David Sims. In one of the featured ads, 44-year-old Elliott strikes a pose in a puffy bomber jacket adorned with glitter and an oversized feathered hood. With her fierce facial expression and statement topper, the music icon certainly looks like a trendsetter.<\/p>\n

Jacobs shared an Instagram post which described his enthusiasm for Elliot\u2019s new campaign. \u201cI am in continued awe of Missy\u2019s ability to push the boundaries of the style of music both to the eye and to the ear,\u201d wrote Jacobs.<\/p>\n

In addition to the star, the campaign also includes actress Sissy Spacek and artist Genesis P-Orridge. Meanwhile, casting director Anita Bitton and stylist Katie Grand have also featured a group of sultry, sullen-looking models, who can be spotted posing together.<\/p>\n
