Although Cindy Crawford may have left her mark on the runways of the 1990s, it looks like the iconic supermodel is now officially set to retire from modelling. With February 20 set to mark her 50th<\/sup> birthday, the brunette bombshell has announced that she is ready to bid adieu to the catwalks.<\/p>\n

In an interview with United Airlines\u2019 Hemisphere<\/em> magazine<\/a>, Crawford described her decision to step down from the catwalks after a lengthy and impressive career.<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel like I\u2019m allowing that to have been great, and I\u2019m celebrating it. And I\u2019m sure I\u2019ll have my picture taken for 10 more years, but not as a model anymore. And that\u2019s OK. I\u2019ve done it. I\u2019ve worked with all these incredible photographers. What else do I need to do? I can\u2019t keep reinventing myself. I shouldn\u2019t have to keep proving myself. I don\u2019t want to,\u201d she said to Hemispheres<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Recently, Crawford stunned in a sultry Spring 2016 campaign for Balmain, alongside fellow \u201890s supermodels Naomi Campbell and Claudia Schiffer. The 49-year-old timeless beauty also published her book, Becoming Cindy Crawford<\/em>, in September.<\/p>\n
