Pretty In Pink At The Screen Actors Guild Awards

It’s award show season in Lalaland! Last night the ‘red’ carpet may have been rolled out at The Shrine Auditorium for the 25th Annual Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards, but ‘pink’ was the hue du jour. Here are some leading ladies who spent their evening, pretty in pink.

Emily Blunt, who won the SAG award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role for A Quiet Place, dazzled in a sparkling, bubblegum pink Michael Kors gown with dramatic satin, ruffled shoulders. This look is what Hollywood glamour is all about.

The skirt of Gemma Chan’s one-shoulder Oscar de la Renta gown spoke playful volumes, with its layered pleated petals. Finishing touches to the Crazy Rich Asians star’s look included Harry Winston statement earrings and ring, and a swipe of Sulwhasoo Essential Lip Serum Stick in Sweet Pink.

Yara Shahidi + Fendi Couture = sugary pink perfection. Her sequined jumpsuit worn under a tulle dress with bejeweled collar also makes for a fast-track to the after-party (no need to change out of this fun and flirty ensemble).

HOT in hot pink, Laura Harrier donned a custom Loewe gown and multi-coloured Bulgari baubles. The draping, poofy sleeves are ultra-feminine and princess-like.

Glow actress Britt Baron opted for a delicate, rose pink ball gown that was cinched at the waist with a black ribbon. Glistening in Hearts on Fire diamonds, Baron joined her castmates in winning the award for Outstanding Action Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Comedy or Drama Series.

Next up…the Oscars!
