What’s key to adding some holiday party sparkle to any look? It’s important to really use an editing eye when incorporating sparkle into your looks. You really want to strike a balance of ‘festive’ and ‘fashion.’ Make sure the colours don’t clash and that you can still see you behind it all. – Andrew Gelwicks (@andrewgelwicks)

Why is statement jewelry so important? It speaks for itself. Imagine a simple black dress with an amazing necklace. Simple and effortless—the look is complete. – Philippe Uter (@philippeuter)

Is there such a thing as overdoing it? Yes, there is. I think if you’re wearing a dress with a lot of beading, [then] you don’t need to overdo the jewellery as much. [Go with] a crystal drop earring and keep the rest simple. You never want the pieces to fight [with] each other. – Krisana Sotelo (@krisanasotelo)

Which statement pieces should we invest in? A chunky necklace, statement diamond studs, and tons of bracelets. – Bruno Lima (@brunolimadesign)

Any tips on wearing coloured gemstones? I don’t like what I call, matchy-matchy. Although, diamonds always look great with diamonds. – Victor Blanco (@victorblancostudio)
