Since Moschino creative director Jeremy Scott is known for creating youthful and funky collections like his recent line inspired by Barbie, it only makes sense that his latest collaboration would be with Nintendo.

According to Fashionista.com, the Italian fashion house has now unveiled a “Super Moschino” project in partnership with the Japanese software and electronics company. Living up to its name, the line celebrates the 30th anniversary of the iconic Nintendo character Mario. Fashionista.com reports that the line is already available online at selected retail locations and on Moschino’s website.

On Moschino’s official Instagram account, the label shared a few snapshots from the new campaign. Staying true to the bold primary hues of the classic Super Nintendo characters, the collection features a series of brightly coloured graphic knit sweaters and playful bags. In one photo, Australian model Bridget Malcolm poses in a vivid orange Super Moschino sweater with playful dangling earrings, surrounded by printed bags.

Other than Mario, the designs also feature the likes of fellow Nintendo characters Princess Peach, Luigi, Bowser and Toad. For fashionistas who are also avid gamers and kids at heart, Moschino’s new partnership with Nintendo just may offer a welcome trip back in time to the 1990s.
