See Kate Moss As An Awkward Preteen On The New L’Officiel Spain Cover

Although we may be used to seeing Kate Moss posing in a series of sultry, high fashion shots, it looks like the 41-year-old supermodel was once an awkward preteen just like everyone else.
Moss graces the cover of L’Officiel Spain, for the magazine’s debut “Kate The Great” issue for September 2015. Instead of her usual glamorous looks, the cover showcases a throwback school photo of the British bombshell before she officially launched her modelling career.
In the 1980s photo (which was shared on the magazine’s Instagram account), a young Moss looks innocent and sweet with her long, wavy tresses, frizzy bangs and fresh, makeup-free face.
It’s certainly a change from the usual seductive poses, blonde strands and grunge inspired dark eye makeup which have all become the model’s trademarks. Instead of a vampy couture creation, the throwback photo features a modest high-collared blouse for the ultimate in schoolgirl style.
While Moss caused a sensation with her recent photoshoot (alongside 23-year-old Cara Delevingne) for Burberry, this throwback cover revisits her simple, girl next door past. Plus, her signature cheeky smile on display proves that some things never change.
