Cara Delevingne Will Star In Zoolander 2?
Yes, Cara Delevingne could very well be honing her comedic chops as the rumours of her appearance in the Zoolander sequel have arrived. While the British beauty has also been linked to the lead role in the musical All Summer Long, it’s her possible feature in the fashion satire that we’re truly excited about.
According to The Sun, the 22-year-old model has been in talks with Ben Stiller to play the lead in his sequel to Zoolander. Cara is known for her lightheartedness and silly poses while modeling, so it makes sense that Stiller and his team would be after a model who doesn’t take herself too seriously. We wouldn’t be surprised if Cara has Zoolander’s famous “blue steel” look mastered and ready to go for her audition. Her amazing, expressive eyebrows alone would make her a top choice for the female lead.
Comedy isn’t all she’s good at as Cara has also made her dramatic acting debut in the British short film Timeless and is currently filming for Joe Wright’s Pan and will star in a number of films over the next year.
Zoolander is known for its model cameos, so don’t be surprised if Cara makes an appearance one way or another. And who knows, maybe we’ll also be seeing a few other supermodels; Karlie Kloss or Kate Upton perhaps?
