Montreal’s Frank & Oak Pop Up In Toronto
Montreal-based online menswear boutique Frank & Oak has officially opened in Toronto, with a holiday pop-up shop open at The Outpost from now until January 12. For male trendsetters hoping to set a style statement this winter, The Outpost strives to bring together the best of both worlds (the laidback look of Frank & Oak paired with an in-person shopping experience away from the virtual world).
The holiday line features plenty of plaid shirts, slouchy knits (which can easily be worn by the ladies for a menswear-inspired vibe), and trendy touches such as bold scarves. We loved the bursts of bright colour which appear on several of the pieces, especially a sophisticated lime green blazer with a faint checked design. Paired with a cable knit burgundy scarf and a blue button down, the colour combination simply screamed “festive spirit”.
With a focus on trendy and creative younger men who are not afraid to embrace colour, we definitely think Frank & Oak is a unique touch in the world of men’s fashion. For guys who prefer simpler silhouettes, looks such as a fitted navy blue blazer worn casually with a red printed tie were also part of the collection. Skinny pants and denim completed the casual yet highly urban feel.
Although the brand is just making its mark on the Canadian fashion scene outside of the online world (with this downtown Toronto location being its first ever freestanding store), we are sure the temporary shop will be a success with stylish gentlemen all over the city. Real Style looks forward to more eye-catching designs from Frank & Oak in the seasons ahead!
