World MasterCard Toronto Fashion Week Kicks Off Under The Tents
The anticipation of a new season of Toronto’s World MasterCard Fashion week is always exciting. The weekend before, fashion editors and bloggers are all tweeting about what shows they are most looking forward to and, of course, planning their outfits in advance. The first night of kicked off with a great opening collection of Miz by Izzy Camilleri, who believe it or not was the designer of Miranda Prestley’s red fur coat in The Devil Wears Prada. Chloe Comme Parris always bring a fresh young take to the Canadian fashion scene and nail the edgy feminine combination every season. Pink Tartan is one of Canadian fashion’s greatest treasures and having the opportunity to discuss Kim’s inspiration backstage with her was the best way to start off fashion week, of course the best way to end day two was with some hunky Bustle models dressed in trendy patterns emulating the Brit’s. A mid-March snow storm was no way to leave the tents, but even through the mix of rain and snow, fashion always prevails!
