Go Nude: How To Wear The New Far-From-Boring Beiges

Flesh Fashion

Nude, beige and pale creamy shades are set to be one of the hottest hues for 2013. We already love the shade for our nails and makeup looks, and we’ve been looking for a way to wear the naked tones as part of a late-winter appropriate look. This textural, monochromatic Peter Som look gave us the go-ahead to pile on the pale.

Flesh It Out

They key to a glam nude look you can even incorporate into your day look is to opt for either the maximalist (see here) take on nudes or the super-sleek minimalist Calvin Klein-esque simplicity of a nude piece or two. Since we’re all about mixing prints, do it with a bit of subtlety by choosing beige, gold and nude pieces with shine and metallic texture, and, you guessed it — pile them on.

How To Finish It Off

While we’re all about keeping head-to-toe separates in the nude family with our picks of Michael Kors trousers, Topshop tank and H&M blouse, your accessories should add a bit of depth. Keeping with the neutral theme, go for animal print on your clutch and metallic black and gold cap-toe heels.
