DSquared2 Launching Kids’ Fashion Line – Are Kim & Kate Responsible?
Toronto designers Dean and Dan Caten, the famous fashionista twins behind Dsquared2, are set to launch their very first high-end children’s fashion line. That’s right, the twin brothers, pictured above in a vintage photo from their childhood in Toronto, got their start in fashion making clothes for their older sisters while growing up, and now they’ll be taking that love of kids’ clothes to a whole new level of awesome.

The Dsquared2 children’s line will be for newborns to 14-year-olds and will be available in Dsquared2 flagships stores in Milan, Paris and Tokyo, as well as select high-end department stores around the world, as of September 2014. And we thought we were fancy when we wore Osh Kosh! We definitely old Kate Middleton responsible for designers’ current interest in all things children’s wear. With the first Royal baby for Kate and Prince William due in July, what better time for designers who dream of dressing Kate to set their sights on the next generation of the royal heinesses. And given that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s baby is sure to be the most extravagantly dressed newborn in Hollywood, Dean and Dan are definitely smart to get their first clothing line in the works now.
