What to Pack for a Paris Summer Vacation
We hope your summer travels are taking you to far off places. And if that destination is the fashionable city of Paris, we’ve got you covered with our stylish and affordable fashion finds. Expect the temperatures in the City of Lights to be the quite warm, with averages in July and August around 20-25 degrees Celsius. Layering is key, especially when the temps drops at night, but you’ll want comfortable and cool pieces for the day while you tour around.
When it comes to accessories, your new best friend will be a cross-body bag. It’s the best hands-free way to travel. We love Coach’s Leather New Willis Cross-Body Bag, $298. On your feet, make sure whatever shoes you pack have been broken into, as blisters are a quick way to take the fun out of walking. A wedge sandal is a comfortable and stylish option that will still give you height without putting too much pressure on your feet. Try Madewell Bridgewalk Wedge Sandal, $187.
Clothing-wise, it’s best to pack pieces that will give you double-duty, like a pair of jean shorts. Consider a pair like the MOTO Bleach Hotpants, $40, we spotted at Topshop. A sparkly tee, like the H&M one we found, is casual, but will make you feel a little dressed up. To really turn things up a notch come evening, try a printed dress, like the bright Sam & Lavi sleeveless dress. Jewellery-wise, try an antique-style ring, like the geometric Club Monaco Francis Filigree ring, $40.
