Colour blocking plays a huge role in this collection. Shades of blush, red, blue and orange are brought together on cute little mod dresses, button down blouses and chiffon dresses that accentuate the waist line. There is inspiration arriving from numerous genres including 60s mod dresses, 20s flapper style fringe dresses and 70s style hippy tunics to create diverse options no matter what your style. Also expect to come across an endless amount of boho pieces next year, as French Connection continues the popular trend with their sheer print blouses and tie dye maxi skirts.

Classic separates make up a large portion of the line with fitted two toned tailored blazers complimented by classic wide leg pants. Simple sheath dresses, maxis and trenches will appeal to everyone. Skinny jeans and trousers paired with simple tanks will be a staple for the French Connection gal. Many of the outfits are accessorized with string and leather tie belts. Classic floral and paisley prints bring an air of femininity to the collection.

The future is looking quite vibrant for French Connection’s spring/summer 2012 collection with delicate and fun pieces for any modern woman to look and feel her best in.
