Mullet Skirts Add A Funky Twist To Your Look
While they may have an unfortunate name mullet skirts are one trend which you should invest in this season. These are the new cut of skirts you’ve been seeing that are short in the front and long in the back, hence the name mullet. These skirts add a whole new dimension to your look and can last you for a few seasons.
These skirts were shown on eveningwear for Fall, like this gorgeous royal blue dress from Versace. The cut allows you to wear a fabulous pair of pumps since they won’t be hidden under your skirt like with most gowns. With the feather trim along the hemline, this mullet skirt dress will turn heads.
Kristin Cavallari showed how to translate the mullet skirt from the runway to the street. She mixes boho and chic by pairing her floral skirt with a tuxedo blazer.
This is a trend that will be sticking around for a while. Rag & Bone showed their own funky version of the mullet skirt in their Spring 2012 collection. The brightly coloured layers make this a look that you can not ignore.
