The key to this bright trend is to choose red accessories – think shoes, handbags and jewelry – in the same colour spectrum as your outfit. This season, matchy-matchy is a good thing.
Lanvin offered his chic take on the trend with a ‘look-at-me’ red jacket paired with a ladylike bag and loafers in a deeper hue. A black wide brimmed hat and gold jewelry tone down were the perfect compliments to ground the look.
Actress Haliee Steinfeld opted for top-to-bottom fire engine red with a Louis Vuitton resort dress, Jimmy Choo wedges and graphic clutch for a look that popped off of the darker red carpet.
