FASHION NEWS: The Return of Chip and Pepper
Now here’s a blast from the past: Just in time for summer Canadian twins Chip and Pepper Foster, who rose to fame in the 1980s with an ultra popular line of tie-dyed neon beachwear (and parlayed that popularity into everything from a TV show to their own line of barbecue sauce), are back with a new wet wear line.
The Winnipeg natives and notorious beach bums, who also helm a premium denim line, have set out to introduce a new generation to what made them famous in 1987. The new wet wear line will include neon t-shirts, fluorescent board shorts, comfy hoodies and the iconic sunglass-wearing bulldog graphic that became synonymous with the brand more than 20 years ago.
The new unisex Spring/Summer 2011 collection will be sold exclusively at S3 in Canada and will also be available online at www.chipandpepper.com.
