Director of Vogue’s documentary The September Issue, R.J Cutler, has signed on as executive produces of a half-hour comedy titled Spring/Summer for HBO. The show will be set in New York City against the backdrop of the fashion world and will star Tea Leoni as the main character. [Deadline News]
Crystal Renn has scored her first Vogue cover for the April issue of Mexico’s edition. The model who is most famously known for accepting her body as a plus size model, displays a much thinner figure on the cover in a long-sleeved orange sheath dress. [Huffington Post]
Former French Vogue Editor-in-Chief Carine Roitfeld will be serving as guest editor, stylist and muse and inspiration for Barneys in the fall. Roitfeld will not only style and edit Barneys’ advertising campaign, she will also style the store’s famous Madison Avenue windows which will be unveiled in September. [WWD]
