FASHION TREND: 50’s Style Dresses
While the series is on hiatus until next season, it seems that stylists and celebs haven’t lost their love for Mad Men. Proper ladylike frocks that could have been borrowed from Betty Draper’s closet graced both the runway and big-ticket events. Though a patterned blue dress paired with long gloves was a winner at Louis Vuitton, both Michelle Williams (in Oscar de la Renta) and Carey Mulligan (in Prada) opted for a black monochromatic colour scheme and kept the accessories to a bare minimum. Emphasize your tiny waist with a belt or cute ribbon for the complete look at your next event this winter.
