FASHION NEWS: Celebrity Dresses On Sale For Charity
Supermodel Elettra Wiedemann has tapped the closets of her famous friends to raise money by selling designer dresses for charity.
A new project Model Behaviour will be selling dresses worn by some of the world’s top supermodels to raise money for Elettra’s charity OneFrickinDay. Models including Tyra Banks, Elle MacPherson and Christy Turlington have donated dresses they wore on the red carpet. Dresses included are from designers Calvin Klein, Dolce & Gabbana and Diane Von Furstenberg. Money raised will go to the Health Ministries in Haiti and Rwanda to bring solar power there so they can increase their abilities. Get in on the bidding at Charity Buzz.
If you are in Canada, you can also get designer dresses worn by celebs. Tonight the second annual Frocktail Party happens in Toronto with a silent auction selling dresses worn by Coco Rocha, ET Canada’s Cheryl Hickey and MTV’s Jessi Cruickshank. Canadian designers David Dixon, Jay Godrey, Joeffer Caoc and Mackage are all involved in the charity event. Get more information at www.thefrocktailparty.com.
