The duo co-wrote the script with Nicole Holofcener, and will produce and star in the feature, and now it’s been announced that Oscar nominated director Ridley Scott will be taking the reigns.

All The Money In The World Star Michelle Williams Earned Much Less Than Co-Star For Re-Shoots

When several sexual misconduct allegations came out against Kevin Spacey in October it appeared as if Ridley Scott’s latest film, All The Money In The World, was in trouble. Then Scott announced that he was planning on re-shooting all of Spacey’s scenes, with Christopher Plummer in the role instead. Everything went according to plan, and everyone was praised for how quickly everything came together. Now however it appears as if everything may not be as good as it appears.

Prometheus Movie Review

A lot has changed since 1979 when Ridley Scott directed the first Alien movie. He’s been nominated for an Academy Award, Science Fiction is widely accepted as a viable movie genre, and special effects are generally computer generated. Prometheus comes out 33 years after Ridley Scott directed the original Alien movie, and it’s sort of a prequel to it, but it’s more of an original movie than anything else.

The Avengers lost their top spot two weeks ago to Men in Black 3, and Snow White and The Huntsman took the top spot last week, and it appears as if another movie will be number one this week. Ridley Scott returns to a science fiction favourite series for the adults, and a cartoon franchise returns for a third time for the kids, both of which will probably make box office gold.

2012’s Most Anticipated Movies

If all goes the way it looks like it might, 2012 could be a banner year for Hollywood. After all, there are many highly anticipated movies this year, some of which have a chance at breaking box office records. Two franchises are coming to a close, a new one is beginning, and a few are returning after a hiatus. When the smoke clears and the dust settles, it’ll be interesting to see which ones come out on top.
