Sherlock Holmes 3 Pushed Back A Year

The last Sherlock Holmes movie starring Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law, A Game of Shadows, was released in 2011, and it performed just slightly better than the first film at the box office. All tolled, both films made just under $550 million each, which isn’t too shabby. A sequel to the Guy Ritchie directed films has long been in production, with a release date of Christmas Day 2020 finally being settled on. Unfortunately now Warner Bros. has announced that the sequel will now be moved to December 21, 2021 instead, over a decade after the last film was released.

Jude Law has filed a lawsuit against a Canadian fireplace company who allegedly used his image in ads without permission. According to the lawsuit, Paloform used Jude Law’s image on their website, Facebook and Pinterest accounts.

Anna Karenina Trailer

The classic Tolstoy novel Anna Karenina is getting yet another movie rendition, and this week the trailer for it was released. The movie stars Jude Law and Keira Knightley, and in case you’ve never read the novel or seen any of the other versions, it’s about the aristocrat Anna Karenina and her life-changing affair with Count Vronsky. The movie is set to open on November 9th, during the height of the fall blockbuster season, and is directed by Joe Wright.
