One of CBC’s biggest hits in recent years is Schitt’s Creek, and now it’s been announced that it will be coming to an end. Father-and-son co-creators Eugene Levy and Daniel Levy have released a statement today stating the series will be ending after season 6 airs next year.

Room And Schitt’s Creek Big Winners At The 2016 Canadian Screen Awards

Room might not have won a lot of awards at the Oscars earlier this year (it was nominated for 4, and only Brie Larson picked up a trophy for Best Actress), but it completely dominated the 2016 Canadian Screen Awards. On the TV side of things it was Schitt’s Creek taking home multiple trophies. Both shows led the way coming into the awards program with the most nominations, and both took home the most trophies.
